First of all I want to say hi to everyone since I have just registered. I have a bit of a problem I bought a Mazda Demio 1.5 Petrol 2001 a few weeks back. Everything was fine with it until I suppose I tried to wash it last weekend. Now for some reason my headlights dont work when I turn the stalk away from me the low beam doesnt come on, and when I push it away from me the hight beam also doesnt come on, the interesting thing is that when I pull it towards me the high beam comes on. I have checke all the fuses because I dont know which one is for the headlight (if anyone knows please tell me) and the bulbs as well I checked the connectors but they seem ok. I dont know what is wrong with the car. Is it worth cleaning it out with contact cleaner? Also I have read through the internet that it could be headlight grounding or relays ( not sure if all the relays are in one place or the headlight has separate relays) If anyone can tell me where the relays are and the headlight grounding is and any suggestions for other things that I can check and where they are I would be extremely gratefull.
