2013~2016 Mazda cx5 2.2 2016 EGR cooler

Hi all Gents,

My question is if a faulty EGR cooler, could push more coolant than the normal, to the expansion tank and create high temperature issues. (Not appeared yet to me,) Faulty EGR means not proper working without any sight to the dashboard lamps. What I realised is that I refilled the radiator and I removed all the coolant quantity from the expansion tank, and then I drove 400 km approximately in one week. I found coolant at the expansion tank at a level a little below from the top to overflow. It's not normal to me. Then I transferred all the coolant from the expansion tank to the radiator tank, at the moment I refilled radiator at the top, emptied the expansion tank completely. I did another 400 km and realised the same. Coolant in a higher level and returned to the radiator filled at the top. That means to me no significant leaks to the coolant circuit. So my question is if a not proper working EGR cooler could create a higher level to the expansion tank, and temperature issues in the future.
I really appreciate your support.
