Thanks to the help of this forum, and Antoine in particular, TrueDelta has another set of reliability survey results for the Mazda CX-9. These are for the year ending December 31, 2007.

For the 2007 Mazda CX-9, we received an average of 4.8 months of data on 34 cars. The stat of 44 successful repair trips per 100 vehicles per year (0.4 per vehicle) is about average, perhaps a bit better than average, for a 2007 model. Pretty good for a complex vehicle in its first year.

Everyone who has been helping out with this research, thanks, it literally wouldn't be possible without you. Those who aren't yet helping out, please consider doing so. It would be nice to also include the 2008, but this will require more participants.

Thanks Michael for all your work.

As one of the members enrolled in the True Delta community and participating under the Honda Odyssey I was able to advance preview the reliability studies for the various new vehicles I was interested in, just by logging on under my user name. I found it to be a great tool with regards to real life gas milage info, reliability info and just general information such as links to the various vehicle specific forums such as this one. Found it worked extremely well in my research.
