I am new to this forum. I am looking for a Mazda CX-9 touring and am wondering what kinds of deals, customer and dealer incentives are avaialble on Mazda CX-9 touring 2009 model.
If this is already being discussed or archived, can you please point me to the threads.

Hi. I bought back in August for Invoice - $4000 rebate - $1000 loyalty, which was $26590 for the touring. Dealer charged me another $150 documentation fee, was too lazy to fight it. Plus the usual tag/title/registration.

Since then price dropped on carsdirect for another $500, so I'd assume rebate is $4500 now (cannot confirm it). Loyalty cash is still active.

I'd recommend to look at carsdirect prices. In general (not just for Mazda) I've seen people buying at carsdirect price minus $500 or $1000.

I don't have a mazda car, so won't qualify for loyalty.

The only option was roof rails.

now that 2010 is out or close to be on the lots, you should be able to get it for below invoice - 4500 dealer whatchamagigit and if you have a mazda get another -1000 off and be paying invoice for the options.

The current deal for cash or ext loan buy is basically
Invoice - $4500 (rebate) - $1000 (if you or your immediate family member owns a Mazda - show title paper)
(if you get a loan from Mazda, you don't get the rebate.)

Dealers may also charge you a "assessment fee". The amount depends on areas. It is usually between $200 to $500. It is used for local ads (so they claim). Anyway, that charge is legit. So, factor that in as well.
Since you will be getting stuff below invoice (including all accessories port-installed), I would suggest you get all the accessories you want, and not install them later after purchase (unless you plan to install them yourself.)

try to deal with them over email so you can say you never saw any ad, I didn't see an assessment fee when I was paying.
