im new in these forum and i dont see anyone talking about this car I own one and i want to know wich upgrades i can do to this car the car is a mazda 626 year 82

Is this a rear wheel drive model? I used to own a 87 626, but mine was front wheel drive. With mine they made a gt model that was turbo, as for yours I don't think there are any mods for it. As with any older mazda they have no after market and everything has to be custom made.

One upgrade you can do is stick a rotary under the hood (drive2)

Hey buddy!

I have had 4 of them in the past, 2 81's and 2 82's.

Would love to hear about, and see some pics of yours.

82 was last RWD 626 in US.

It uses the RX7 rear end, so you could upgrade rear to say a limited slip.(drinks)

It might even be possible for a GSLSE rear swap, but dont quote me on that.(stoned)

I fixed 3 head gaskets, on 3 seperate cars, so it is a definite weak point.(loser)

Carb upgrades are possible, I ported the intake on one of them, but never got around to upgrading the carb, plus, being in CA with all the smog crap, I didn't want to do anything that was hard to fix easy. (stash)

These cars handle suprisingly well with just shock/strut upgrades. Also some nice fat tires are fun too.

If you are really looking for some power, being that it is a RWD car, and mazda, and similar to a Japan only rotary version car, it would be a good donor car for a rotary swap.(boom06)

where are you located? there is a 82 626 for sale here locally..which is why i ask. yes it is RWD and the 13b is pretty much a bolt in swap.

thx for the info i live in Puerto Rico and there only few of this cars in the island and my car is the rear wheel drive model.
