Mazda 626 2010 2.5 v6

Sorry if this in the wrong area.. I have a 10, mazda 626 2.5 v6, it has the green /white check valve broken???

Does the intake need to be removed to replace this valve? Also can i use a basic check valve from autozone/Oreillys? or the dealer?
and finally if i use a basic blk/white check valve which way should it go?

You can get a "universal" check valve for $5 and it'll be the same thing. I had the same thing happen in my 93 PGT and I bought a check valve from oreilly and fixed the issue that way.

You may want to try the 626 section, not the Mazda 2 section. Our I4 1.5l MZR isn't quite the same as the v6 2.5l KL-G4.
