Went to close the sunroof of my 6 today after getting home from washing it and the spring-loaded wind deflector got hung-up on something and didn't lower as the roof was closing. Consequently the "plastic" joint on the right side of the deflector (the right angle where the deflector attaches to the right deflector arm) was broken when the roof hit it in it's upright position. Now the deflector will not lower unless I reach up and pull it down by hand which can put my fingers in a very dangerous situation!
My question is...Is this a replacable part or is it part of a whole assembly that I would have to buy? I'm hopin' it's a part, but I have a feeling it's part of an assembly. I just need the right metal arm with the plastic "joint" attached to it. I will go check with the Mazda dealer on Monday but thought I'd post this and see if someone could save me a trip!
Plus...Does anyone know of a link to a online Mazda 6 workshop manual?
Thanks for any help you can give me. I appreciate it!
