Mazda 6 breaks on MSP

Good luck finding an MS6 in a junkyard, and even if you do, the yards in my area seem to be hurting for money because every time i've asked they charge and arm and a leg, especially for a desirable part like an entire speed6 brake setup (which can be used on many vehicles not just proteges and 6s). Then you have to turn all 4 rotors, add in a new set of brake lines (preferably stainless braided), new pads (I personally would never run used pads), and fluid. Then if you want that proportioning valve that's another 90. So in reality no it's not going to happen for $100. New lines, pads and turning the stock MSP rotors would be much closer to $100 and you wouldn't stop but a few feet slower, if at all.

Junk Yard... That is where I found mine... $20.00

Umm, Everything... They were just sitting on a wrecked Speed6 in the parts warehouse.
Didn't even replace the pads.

Nice, well congrats on finding that. Not everybody is going to be that lucky though so saying you can do it for $xxx when you got a sweetheart deal isn't really true for everyone.

maybe im retarded but could it be explained why we would put the rear left on the right and vise versa

The Bleeder is on the bottom... It works better if it is on the top, where the air is... So if you swap them out, then everything is happy.

ah ok i got it good info. any pics of your ebrake cable adapter? or what ever you used to connect the cables

You basically need to extend the one that is on your car.

That can be done simply by attaching an extra length between the Y Junction and the actual cable.

I believe that it is less than 4 inches..

Contact FOCUS. He is the only member that I know of who installed this OEM style..

Mine is on a hydraulic Park Brake so I never bothered to build the cable
