I think I have the same problem you describe about a noise, grinding feel through the pedals and steering wheel. For me I notice it most at about 15 km/h. Doesn't matter if I'm turning left/right or going straight. Accelerating/decelerating...once the speed is between 0 and 40 km/h I feel it. Tire rotations done every oil change. I've got 21,000km on my '06.
