All,

With the bluetooth - handsfree system engaged and cell phone able to dial out and receive calls - how do you MUTE a call so can listen w/o having to tell kids to be quiet all of the time...

Had the cell itself on MUTE before got into the vehicle using headpiece - heard the bluetooth connection establish itself and presto - no more MUTE...hitting the mute button the phone did not appear to be effective.

Is there a way to do a MUTE on the car system ?

Press the bluetooth button during the call and say "Mute."

Yeah, it's that easy. To unmute: "Mute off"
