I am renting the following car on Monday, and I am used to fully automatic (just drive, parking etc)

I am now freaking out, I read the description and it seems really confusing.

I know there is a drive mode and manual mode, will I have to flick it every time to change the gear even in drive mode or is it just in manual.

or do I have a choice where I just put it in drive and not worry about gear shifting

its just like a regular auto tranny.
Theres all the standard P,R,N,D
and then if you slide it over it will be in manual mode.

just leave it in drive and you will be fine. it will still shift for you and everything like that just dont switch it over to the manual mode because it will not shift for you even if you bring it up to redline and let it bounce off the limiter.

on the 3 just pull it all the way straight back. dont move it to the left or right when you hit drive.

its really no hard though. its nothing like a manual, if you have ever played a racing game with a manual tranny its about the same.
