Mazda 3 and RUST...

I have a P5 now, and it is full of rust. Fenders, Rockers...you name it. Its got it. What problems do these have with paint job, rust etc?

I think I read about some that have rust, but personally my does not have any. I think it really depends on how well it was taken care of before. If it saw a ton of salt, hopefully they waxed it good.

my g/f's 3 is an 05 and it's rusing on the hood and around the 3rd brake light. i had a 98 dodge that didn't even have that much rust on it. the previous own must not of taken good care of the paint before we bought it.

Lots of discussion with Canadian owners here. They have to deal with rust because of road salting during the winters.
