Hi,
Mazda 3 2 5Maxx Sorts Sedan Manual Only done 104k has been servuiced by Mazda dealer correctly and has full oil.
I for some reason the last couple of weeks I have a clicking or tapping sound coming from the motor.
Man say it is the timing chain however with a stethoscope there is hardly any noise anywhere near the timing chain side of the motor.
It seems to be loudest when the stetho is on the intake area. Especially between the intake tubes maybe 2 3 inches down.
Also loud at the back near the cabin.
Have tried it in gear, clutch in and out, revving and idle, air co n on and off.
Two mechanics are baffled.
Any ideas please.
