Mazda 2 Weight

So a lot of people think I don't tell them the truth about how light the 2 is. So i figured I would finally weigh the car today. This is a touring, and it has just hit 3 bars of gas so probably about 5 gallons in it. This was done only to check the weight. I didn't want to go through making sure all of the scales were level.

What do you mean by checking if the scales were level? does that have something to do with magor difference in wieght between the left and right??

Basically. When you corner weigh a car the scales have to be level to correctly read the weight on each wheel. I was just going for the overall weight so that doesn't matter.

Cool! When I weighed mine I think I had a full tank and it was close to 2390 if I remember right (with Koseis/StarSpecs)

Yep, my M2 is very close to the weight of my Miata and close in the length too. But it has the wrong weight distribution, 1/2 the HPs, etc. It does help explain the mpgs and handling.
