Mazda 2 Skid Tray

hey, i'm just wondering if a skid tray is a necessary evil?

If you are talking about the Corksport Mazda2 Skid Tray, then yes it is a valuable mod to have. The complete skid tray kit only weighs a little over 10 pounds. When I installed the skid tray on my Mazda2 I was actually shocked as how lightweight the complete kit was.

If you plan on lowering your Mazda2, live in the land of the snow, or drive on gravel roads then the skid tray is a must have. My skid tray has the battle scares that prove it's worth.

There is a small aero improvment as well if you find yourself over 70mph on a regular basis.

Tested, and documented improvement? And is that downforce, fuel mileage, or both?

Could be a good start to a flat-bottom undertray ;)

Personal observations at a specific racetrack and the speed at a brake marker after a long straight.

Track tested is good enough info for me lmao :P. I'm curious, what was the speed difference?
