Mazda 2 Black Edition, Questions!

Hello All!

Just joined the forum seeing as we just got one of these for the misses, Just got a few questions.
When we got it, it was missing the black edition plaque on the rear and the interior number plaque. Also the two side ones where stuck on but in the wrong place!? The dealership is claiming the dealer before them messed up....Id never use that dealer again, we called them up the last 3 days since they claimed they ordered new plaques. But the aftercare for this place is non-existent!

Another question is the sun shade on the passenger side should that have a mirror in it? since the driver side does. And even on my Mazda 6 it does on both shades!
Hopefully we will get this sorted out!

We don't get the Black Edition ( for some reason ) in the US but I do know the Black Edition comes with the plaques you speak of. If you know for a fact that the plaques were in the wrong place or some were missing I'd say you should call/visit another Mazda dealer or call/email Mazda UK and ask. Or... join a UK based Mazda 2 forum and ask those guys as well.

I'm not sure about the Black Edition but if I'm not mistaken our top of the line US Mazda2 Touring Model does not come with a mirror on either shade. Boo...

Thank you for the info on the plaques and the visor mirror! I have joined a UK based Mazda 2 forum but it seems dead ;/

Been keeping a log of when i call and what is said atm with the dealer who sold it, called today and the rep I was dealing with was on a week holiday and now has another week off, and the area manager was on a work trip! So in the end I got passed to a rep who had no actually idea what was happening ;/

Next step will be tomorrow by calling the go between guy at the dealership who deals with Mazda UK and I think the word for it is escalate the issue, That should mean Mazda UK now gets involved.

You would think buying a new car would be easy
