I have the Megan and it's not too bad. Had some issues with the flange that connects the resonator piece to the axle back part and had to take it to a muffler shop and have them remove the flange and weld in a coupling. I get a lot of compliments on how my car sounds though. Even from hardcore V8 guys who are quick to call "rice" There is some droning on the highway too but I just turn the radio up.

depends on what you looking for, if you looking for quiet with a bit of growl then go with Racing Beat, if you looking for something louder then go Megan or Vibrant. My racing beat was very close to stock until you punched it hard, but I really cant say for sure what the Megan or Vibrant ones sounds like.

Ill sell you my racing beat catback if you want it! let me know! Ill let it go for pretty cheap!

I had the megan racing cat-back on my car for a week before I got rear-ended and it got wrecked. Without the silencer in it the thing was WAY too loud. Giant fart-can loud like you see and hear on ricer civics. I wanted to kill myself after 20 minutes on the highway with that on. With the silencer it's much more livable, although I'm not a fan of the 4" tip.
I have the racing beat now, and love it. It looks cool, and is almost stock quiet except at WOT. I recommend the RB. :)

I dont think the sedan catback with fit on the P5 catback, but I'm not 100% sure

In the event you are one of these guys concerne about weiht, keep in mind that stainless steel is heavy w/o affecting performance. However, it sure looks nicer, especially 50k later. Although I guess in this car a cat-back still isn't that long.
I'm curious, do all the cat-backs have that crazy 4"+ tip?

Everyone will recommend Racing Beat.

ding ding ding! we have a winnar!

now that I'm turboed with my racing beat, MAM midpipe, and corksport downpipe it's so freakin quiet I love it. Racing Beat does really great things with mazda.

I think it's awesome to support them just because they are a mazda-specific company.. those other companies could care less about our model, they're just out looking to make the $$

personally, i dont like the oval tip, i think it doesnt look good on it. i think the ms axleback looks perfect on the car, not ricey looking at all and people think it comes stock with it. i kinda like it loud too. i have the ms axleback, aem sri and obx headers and it sounds pretty good. lots of compliments.

i know the ms axleback is only a axleback, but eventually im going to get the mid pipe and finish the catback as well. but i love how the muffler looks now.

I love the low rumble of my Magnaflow - always turns heads in parking garages (lol2)
