Wow would love this but need a cam gear cut out for my set up. You had mentioned that you will no longer be doing valve covers. When will you be stoping this service?

Pretty much now as I don't have any raw covers left and I'm not searching them out. So this will be one of my last items I do for the Mazda camp. I need to move into other ventures and get back to steady side work.I will/can do covers if someone sent me one, but I don't see many more getting done. Things have run their course and are nearing the end. I might be able to cut this cover and add a layer of powder to redo where I clean up, but there would be additional cost for the cut and the powder rework, but it's possible to do if one wanted.

Am I correct in understanding that it would be a net of $120 if I send you my old VC, or, are you not looking for a core any longer?

I am very seriouly interested in this depending on the net cost.

Id take the core.....SO yes net cost is $120 once I get a cover back. Once I run out of cores....Ill be done doing this. Eventually...someone just buys outright and then the core supply stops.

Thanks for the reply.

I discovered last night while changing the oil that the oil pan is rusty (same issue as my 97 as well, bummer). That's going to have to take precedence over the valve cover right now. I have the thread bookmarked and will respond once I have that and the rusty exhaust taken care of (which will have to be replaced as well).

I went around the JY today and every Probe, Protege, and 626 had badly rusted oil pans as well. Looks like a new one is in store.

This might sound facetious, but, if I traded you 4 valve covers for a powder coated one would be we be even, or, do you only want a one-on-one trade? TIA.
