Matrix

That's one of the things I like best about the P5, it feels faster than it really is, whereas the Matrix feels slower than it really is due to the way it needs to be driven. I honestly think the Mazda is more of a driver's car and I think that's exactly what the Car and Driver article points out.
My view exactly. It's all about the feel. Hell, you can always add horsepower. If the car doesn't have the right feel, then I won't buy it. The zoom-zoom factor that Mazda puts into their cars is why I will always buy Mazda.

This comes from the girl who sold two mustangs to get a miata...

Madzaspeedgirl, TexP5, and Car and Driver are right on the money. You want to buy a car that you will still like in 10 years? Buy one that is an absolute blast to drive. It doesn't have to be the fastest car on the planet. There will ALWAYS be another car that is faster than yours no matter what car you drive and how many mods you make. Get one that you enjoy driving.
My P5 is a blast to drive and I have no doubts I will feel the same way about it 10 years from now. My 88 RX-7 turbo was a blast to drive when I bought it in 1994 and is every bit as much fun today. The '85 RX-7 GSL-SE that I purchased in 1988 was a blast to drive and I still regret selling it.
I'm rambling...but you get the point.:) :) :)

I agree, the P5 is a very sharp looking car for the price, and the yellow is really catchy.

(Tonight I am a man of few words.)

TWO Mazdas...good boy!

2-4me2:D

Was she patting me on the head when she said that? How are Josie and Pogo by the way? Happy and healthy I hope. As for me PacMan is doing just fine at 2000 miles. So is the 7 but I may need help with a name for that one. Gone 8 years without one. Hmmm...:D
