Anyone with the daveB rings that are brushed? I as wondering if the brushed rings match the metal trim in the interior (i.e. around the climate controls/radio). I have a 2003 Mazdaspeed, but i think the trim is the same as in the mp5, mp3 and Prot ES's.

Thanks - Mike

yea, brushed rings match the interior perfectly IMO. but to tell you the truth.. either brushed or polished would work. its just personal preference at that point.
I went with brushed because i thought polished was a little bit too 'flashy' for me.
either way, it should look great [which ever you choose] in your car, i think brushed is the way to go.

Hi,

I have the brushed version also. I think that it kinda matches more with the gray-ish color of teh door handles and the gear box.

yup, the brushed rings match the "brushed aluminum" paint and the polished match the flying M logo on the steering wheel.

i have brushed with brushed gauge bezel and my needle bases are all painted "brushed aluminum" (1.50 acrylic paint from Michaels)

I think it looks sweet, especially down the road when I get my intelliglow needle kit and the backlighting is all white and the needles blue. .....mmm must save money.

I went with brushed as well, so they'll match the AutoMeter Ultra-light gauges I want to get when I get my turbo

I have the brushed rings as well, it seems like the brushed seem to be the most popular and best looking to help match the interior.
