Martial Arts

50 pounds and 3 years later...I wish i could go back..man the conditioning and shape i was in is something i definitely wouldnt mind getting back.

It certainly isn't too late...

and Congrats Poison!(cool)

I did kung fu and karate at various times in the past, and now I'm studying outside of a dojo. Mostly karate at the moment, but eventually will learn kung fu, and anything my sensei can teach me.

I did a team tournament on Sunday. We got trashed. We were over 175lbs, so we were heavyweights (right, at 186 I'm heavyweight, lol). The other teams were all 6'2" and taller, 200-260lbs. Mixed division, so brown and black belts, we were all brown belts.

Fun though.

I remember being in a similar situation some years ago, when I first became a brown belt. Not so much about the weight, as me and my dojo mates were new brown belts, against some seasoned black belts. We beat them all...lol! One of the best tournaments that I remember being in...
