Manual transmission shivers (2023 CX-5 AWD G165 e-Skyactiv)

Hi,

I own a 2023 AWD G165 e-Skyactiv with manual transmission (bought new in Greece).

Since day one I noticed that the transmission trembles when pressing the clutch while the engine revs are dropping.

Check the attached video, and wait for the this shivering sound at around 10 sec.

Got it to the dealership they had no idea what that was but told me not to worry... Got it to another dealer, that agreed that this is not normal and started inspecting the car.

They noticed that the transmission fluid was full of metal filings (only 3000 kms on the clock) and after long discussions with Mazda Europe, I got the gearbox replaced.

By the way, I noticed that the gearbox change work, does not appear on the Mazda app under the services section. Is this expected?

Then, guess what... The new gearbox does the exact same shivering noise.

The dealer said that after me reporting this, he noticed the same noise on other 2022 and 2023 manual transmission cx-5s.

Does anyone have a European (if this makes any difference) 2023 MT G165? Have you noticed this?

Just throwing something out there...did they reuse the same flywheel? Clutch?

Hi, yes they reused the same flywheel and clutch. I want to believe that if those had any issue they would have replaced them as well.
