Hey do you know how much oil i need in the tranny, I hit around 65,000 and im going to try and get rid of the nochyness with redline oil.. any help would help.. thanks!

I would suggest MTL, personally... I've tried both the MT-90 and the MTL, and the MTL lasted longer, and felt better, to me.

I'm going on 15K with Redline MT-90 and noticed it gets really notchy with the hotter weather. I want to change to something else but I'm not sure what...

Ok well i will try the MTL.. is that the name of the brand? Do you know which stores carry it? Napa or autozone? is it also 75w-90?

Ok well AutoZone has the penn senchromesh 75-90.. im gonna go get that.. thanks for the help. I will let you kno how it goes!.

Autozone or Advanced should have it. It's Redline MTL...all other Redline products are available only or at speciality race stores.

This is what I ran into with the Redline MT-90, too... The MTL seems to keep slippery longer, so the notchieness is eliminated a little better, at least as far as I've found.

I just filled mine yesterday with Redline Lightweight Shockproof Gear Oil. I love it so far.

A month ago, I tried Redline MT-90 and it seemed to work and shift pretty well.

I filled it about 3-1/2 quarts, lowered the car down (to be level), and then let the excess drip out into a pan.

will the light wieght shock proof work with the mazdaspeed LSD?

what about the MTL?

I know the 75w90 will but I don't know about the others.

by the way JEGS has the redline stuff at $7.99,even the shock proof.

i have the mazdaspeed lsd and the lightweight shockproof works great (so far).

i think i even like it better than the MT-90. the MTL is not recommended for our cars.
