Manual to electric/heated seat CX-5 upgrade – connector issue

Hi all,
I have a 2019 Mazda CX-5 originally fitted with manual seats.
I’m upgrading to fully electric + heated seats from a higher-spec CX-5.

The seats bolt in fine, but I’ve hit a wiring issue:
  • The new seats have two connectors:
    • One large main connector – fits perfectly.
    • One smaller connector – problem area.
Passenger side:
My original seat only had one connector, and there is no matching plug in the car for the second (small) connector on the new seat.

Driver side:
There is a small connector in the car, but although both old and new are 2-wire, the connector size/keying is different, so it won’t plug in.

None of the electric or heated functions work at the moment (expected, since the car was manual).

Questions:
  • How can I move forward with this retrofit?
  • Has anyone run into this issue before?
  • Does anyone have wiring diagrams or pinouts for these seat connectors?

Thanks in advance.
