Hi all,
I have a 2019 Mazda CX-5 originally fitted with manual seats.
I’m upgrading to fully electric + heated seats from a higher-spec CX-5.
The seats bolt in fine, but I’ve hit a wiring issue:
My original seat only had one connector, and there is no matching plug in the car for the second (small) connector on the new seat.
Driver side:
There is a small connector in the car, but although both old and new are 2-wire, the connector size/keying is different, so it won’t plug in.
None of the electric or heated functions work at the moment (expected, since the car was manual).
Questions:
Thanks in advance.

- The new seats have two connectors:
- One large main connector – fits perfectly.
- One smaller connector – problem area.

Questions:
- How can I move forward with this retrofit?
- Has anyone run into this issue before?
- Does anyone have wiring diagrams or pinouts for these seat connectors?
Thanks in advance.
