ok.. I installed my kartboy exhaust hangers.. the cat is still touching the crossmember.. I had my friend that works at mazda look at my motor mounts and he said they are still good.

what now?

If it is still rubbing, take a pair of pliers and slightly bend up the hangers on the midpipe to raise the midpipe up.Becareful not to take it up to high.Let me know if this works.

BTW I love the butt dyno meter after installing the mid pipe. Hey I'm 116 Hp at the wheel now too and all N/A. I don't know if its just me but my car feels more responsive now. As for the extra o2 bung, I needed it because my Ractive header only had 1 bung for the first o2 and nothing for the 2nd o2.

But the o2 bung is the same thread as an 18mm spark plug. Hell wire in a spark plug and shoot flames out the tail pipe if you dare.

Have you done this yet? This will be my setup as well so I'm interested in if you get a CEL at all.

Yep I did get a CEL. The ractive header only has 1 bung. I didn't pay attention to this until after I had the header jet-hot ceramic coated. So I bought a MIL eliminator from a shop and installed that on the day I installed my header. I got a CEL in less than 100 miles after resetting the ECU.

So I read on here about puting the 2nd O2 sensor into an 18mm sparkplug antifouler. I tried that and reset the ECU. I still got a CEL.

So last week our club (MAZDASPORTS) had a day on the dyno. I got one of MAM's highflow midpipes with the extra bung installed. I lengthened the wires of the rear O2 sensor and installed the sensor behind what was the second cat. ( the only cat now)

No more CEL.
