guys i was looking at the syflex auxmod and saw that it was homemade. so i was thinking if i could find out how its made i might as well make one for my self. so does any one know how its made? blue prints would be helpfull, the person that helps me find one i will make one for him for free.

Well I doubt Sylfex is going to give you the blueprints to thier design as they'd then potentially lose money. You'd probably have the best luck with getting a module and trying to reverse engineer it.

Bear in mind that it's a microprocessor with software that fools the stereo into thinking there's a tape deck there, not just sending in an audio signal.

Good luck to you.

Yes, its homemade, but like icspots said, they engineered it. Its not just assembling components, you need the firmware for the chip also.

If you really want to design something you're going to need some engineering expertise to do it.

Zero Cool has been working (with several other engineers) for awhile now in making a new ipod/aux input. It's not a quick thing....... kind of why the AuxMod Advanced has been so long in coming.
