making the jump to spicy orange

yeah white would be tight.
i think that pearl white would look really good, especially with the darker racing harts that the 03.5 has. if i just had money laying around, a pearl white paint job would be the way to go.

some dark grey/titanium accents (pinstripe or whatever) would also look good, and match the wheels real well.

drew.

Honestly if you dont like the silver you have now I would get it painted championship white and be original instead of getting a stock msp color. I think a white 03.5 msp would be badass.
I agree 100% with Mike.

However, I hope you understand everything that's involved in a color change. Sure, you could get it for $300 at Maaco, but if you want it done right, you have to strip everything off the car & cough up several thousand dollars.

It's not EVERYTHING, unless you strip the car down to the frame. :p Also keep in mind that several people have had trouble getting Spicy Orange to look right with the Mica.

actually, i dont like red, but i think a red one would look sweet. i dunno tho red is starting to grown on me alot as well. but yea i thought you were considering doing a trade in, i wouldnt mess iwth getting a complete paint job to a stock color either. you would have your choice of literally anything out there. red, ferrari blue, or even lambo orange. but if you are considering a different color, i would get something other than a stock option for a complete paint job. custom paint is supposed to be just that, CUSTOM.

I don't think I can see red on a protege... it just doesn't work in my mind (but I do love red... I used to have a red MX-6)

i had a red p5 before i traded it in for the msp and i gotta say the protege red looks really nice

I personally think you should paint it a color that the msp's dont come in like mentioned before red and white would look really cool. Very unique. I think white would look better though to me.

I'd strongly oppose doing the conversion but that's just cause I have a spicy and I'm rather proud of there only being 825 of them.
850 MSP's + 1 P5:) Not 825.

Spicy Orange = attention from friendly Mr. Police officer. From your description, it doesn't sound like you need the extra draw, if you know what I mean. :p

If it was me, I'd go with a non-mazda color: Championship White (honda)
