Making a Manual Boost Controller?

Would this be possible to do for our cars? I hear its easy and affordable and its safe as well.....just not sure how to do it and would need some explanation. Please give any opinions or feelings on doing this. Thanks

you can always go with the fish tank valve or check valve.
