make Frodo comfy!

I was randomly googling ms3 stuff when I came across a review where the owner mentioned using different bolts to raise the front mount of the driver's seat. I want to know how to do that! I'm 5'8 and when I raise the seat height adjuster to see over the dash the cushion angles front-down; This is less comfortable for my legs and also requires putting the seat further back which makes my stubby arms stretch too far for the steering wheel (even with it telescoped all the way back). With a front-high cushion angle I could sit closer to the wheel without cramping my legs. I searched here and found nothing, has anybody raised the front mount of their seat? I know this all sounds dumb but I must have weird proportions, oddly my old 626 had less adjustment but fit me perfectly.

I imagine you could take out one of your passenger seat bolts, head over to a home improvement store or auto parts store and try to find a slightly longer GRADE 8 bolt with the same thread pattern and use some washers as spacers under the front of your seat rails to raise it up.

It did it to mine.I went to home depot and got 2 longer bolts and about 30 washers.I added about 15 washers to each side.It raised the front of my seat about 1.5" or so.I dont understand why they dont have a setting where the front of the seat comes up higher then the back part and not just level.

because they cheaped out on the 3... the protege had tilt and lift

yeah, they totally cheaped out. I drove a rented mazda 6 once and the height adjustment was totally independant from the cushion angle adjustment, you could put the seat exactly as you wanted it.
