Major White Smoke Upon Start Up??

i have experienced twice (over 60 days apart) upon start up my engine emitted white smoke upon start up and miles down the road from my house

It was so bad that people where getting out of their cars at stop lights and coming up to my window because they thought my car was going to explode

has anyone seen this happen, my dealer and his lead tech say they have not seen such an issue and were not helpful in trouble shooting

See the thread I started on this issue, there are many who have experienced this issue. It appears to be related to the "turbo seals", my advice is watch your oil level closely. The problem will become worse as time goes on, you should try and video tape it for the dealer.

If it's oil that's burning, shouldn't the smoke be blue?

I have actually had 2 types of smoke in my 10 months of ownership

Last summer I experienced the "white smoke" upon start up , mystery smoke as it was definitely NOT condensation and it was pure white. That happened to me 2 or 3 times and has since morphed into the "bad smoke" which is the blueish white smoke and definitely has a pungent burning smell (chemical like) very unset tingling for a new car to behave in this manner. Sounds like you are still in phase I, give it time and you will be in phase II soon enough.
