aw man, that standback wants to come to my home, but too bad i am still paying down my loan :(

Damn!!!! I'm actually looking for a new TMIC. I'm up in Wichita Falls but I closed out my mail box and am leaving the area for good on Friday :(

If you were like.....half a week earlier, I would've jumped on this. I drove down to Dallas on Monday :(

If you can provide more details on the items for sale, it will help your case out. If that's a CP-e pod, it's a great deal. If it's the Lotek pod, that's over what a new one cost.

I had it on my car for about 500 miles. I bought it from a guy that had it on for a short time but don't know exactly how long. It looks new to me.

Thanks!

Mike

hey guy, very interested in the qtp cutout. what else would i need to install this?

may be interested in the injen cai also. please pm me details, i can paypoal as soon as we work something out

PM'd you about the CAI. If you have all the installation parts I am willing to meet you tomorrow for pick up.

In response to Importfan12: "Is the standback plug and play with the harness you have? "

Well, let me explain the harness in more detail. They call it a plug and play harness because you do not have to splice into the original wiring harnesses on the vehicle instead you splice into the supplied harness. With that said the wires have not been spliced into the supplied harness yet but I have read the manual and it looks relatively straight forward with color pictures and step-by-step instructions. As far as tuning goes, as far as I know the standback system works by reading the signals coming into the ECU and then manipulates the output signal accorind to your settings. You have to setup these settings. I don't have any experience with setting up the standback so I would recommend looking on the forum to see how it is done.

I'm sorry i could not be more helpful. I just never got that far in the installation process.

The Cobb AP I have for sale, is more "plug and play." You just flash the ECU with the program you want (takes about 5 minutes) and then drive on!
