Main Bearing Cap Directions and Stampings

Hey guys, I just go my block back from the machine shop and I think they may have mixed the main caps up. SO, I need help. They have stamped markings on Caps (1,2,3,4,5) but I dont know if they are facing the right direction. Some of the caps are stamped on the left, others on the right and they dont face the same direction. Are these markings OE? IF they are, are they all on one side? and do the bearing locks all mate up on the same side? (block and cap notches side by side)?

I also had the pistons marked on top 1,2,3,and 4 but when they cleaned them, they did not remark them. I will be using new bearings and rings so this is a concern but not nearly as bad as the main caps.

Any help would be great! If anyone has a pic of a stock bottom end with the wedge tray removed that would be great!

In the pic attached below on the block all the bearing notches are on the top side, and caps 1, 2, and 5 have the notch on the same side, while caps 3 and 4 have the notches on the bottom...

1,2, and 5 look like....

3 and 4 look like...

It says in the engine rebuild manual supplement. Don't have it in front of me, but each cap is stamped with a letter from the factory. A,B,C, etc. These go from front to back, in the same orientation. The tab indentations should all be on opposite sides from one another like in pic 2.
