MagnumP5's Post-Turbo Dyno!

MagnumP5 thanks for the Information , I am taking notes so I can start building mine . It will just take alot of reading on here to get a plan.. Respectfully Steve

Woo, bump for me. Well I have a more recent dyno with quite a few add-ons such as a Corksport exhaust, ATP wastegate actuator, lightweight flywheel, SS AFC V2, MPi Stage 1 turbo upgrade, etc, etc. The only reason I have not uploaded that one is because it was actually lower than the ones posted here. I really don't think these are accurate, but my most recent dyno was 183 whp and 185 wtq at about 7-8 psi on the upgraded turbo. Recently, I have added a 626 IM and have upped the boost to a solid 10 psi. Once I get the AFC tuned decently I plan to get dyno'd again and I'll have the updated numbers/sheets posted here.

sweeeeet man! sorry for a threadjack but where do you guys put your a/f ratio o2 sensors? im using stock s/jpipes and a custom jpipe back exhaust. Should i/do you put stock o2 sensor on j-pipe and get an extra put in after or....what are you doing magnum?

Primary O2 sensor is in the stock location in the exhaust manifold. I have the Corksport S/J pipes which have an O2 sensor bung in the j-pipe. I put my wideband sensor there and used the stock MSDP location (in the midpipe) for the second O2 sensor. I had to get an O2 bung in the CS exhaust for that.

what dyno was this most recent run done on?

Just figured I'd give this a little bump because I've had my most recent dyno sheet on my computer for some time. Back on April 5 I dyno'd at some no-name shop out the middle of nowhere, Pulaski, VA. Unfortunately I only have the HP curve because for some reason the dyno lost my tachometer signal around 5000 RPM so that curve goes all crazy. Also, even though the AFRs show a perfect 12:1 for most of the plot they're actually closer to 11:1 because the dyno O2 sensor was in the tailpipe. Anyway, onto the dyno...

Damn bro, nice numbers! Is that with the disco-potato on there?
Nope, no potato :( I do have the MPi Stage 1 Turbo upgrade which, from what I understand, is the GT28RS compressor wheel stuffed into the GT2554R compressor housing. Eventually I'll be going with a GT2871R or Sam's big ol' GT3071R :D (after internals, of course)

good s*** man.. if only i was EVER able to get my s*** done and get a dyno that'd be sweet. DAMN YOU MONEY~!

DAMN YOU MONEY~!
Tell me about it. I've got a few more tricks up my sleaves before I intend to get a new block with forged internals. I'm hoping to have them installed within the next month and then hopefully I can find a place to do a decent tune and get dyno'd again. If I can breake the 220 whp mark before internals and other larger upgrades I'll be happy.

hmm i wonder what that stage 1 will do at higher boost on a built motor lol
I would put it somewhere between a stock turbo and the GT28RS obviously. I would be willing to bet that anything over 20 psi would be out of it's efficiency range.

Well what's the max psi while remaining efficient in both the stock turbo and the GT28RS. Also, does Yash have the Stage I or II? Last time I checked I thought he had the stage II which would help with efficiency but delay response (larger turbine wheel as well).
