it is completely unnecessary to run a dual setup and a relocated maf... with that being said there will also be no adverse effects on your car by doing this... it is just a lot of money and clutter that is unneeded

theres really no need to run the dual setup with relocated maf, i dont think ive seen anyone with the maf relocated running the dual setup, i know when i do my fmic ill be relocating and ditching the CAI for a SRI with just a bov no bpv

when you got with a sri it just eliminates the need for a bypass humm im trying to get all this in before i do anything towards a bov. hks FTW!!!

you should let me know on prices you find? Im in the market for IC, hardpipes and BOV, will probably maf relocate. but am completely stuck between prices of the fmic hiboost or buying the smic and everything else seperate which comes out to insane amount of pricing!

Well, for those of you looking to block off the nipples in the Hot Pipe and in the Injen intake to install your BOV on the cold pipe, I found this.

yup thats what i used when i first got my hardpipes without relocated...had alot of stalling and finially put the bpv back in...they are avaliable at any local parts stores

i have heard that relocating the MAF if you are running with EMS (say, unichip) is a bad idea. any truth?

I would like to know about that as well,im runing hiboost fmic with a greddyRS venting with the unichip.It runs really crapy right now,ive been runing the car for a few months now with this setup and it runs rich as hell.Relocating the maf seems to be the way to go but now i hear people saying that is a bad idea to relocate with the unichip.Why is that?

The Unichip is already programmed for the MAF to stay in the stock location. Moving it will not be good. If you relocate it, you need to get it retuned by JDMSAM.

i now have the HiBoost fmic in with the HKS bov that came with it. also Injen and Unichip. Im venting the HKS and it drives like piss, im gonna recirc it back to the intake tube and see if that works. i think it should. i imagine that relocating with the unichip would make the car as lean as MaryKate Olsen... probably a bad idea.
