Does anyone knows the part # of the Mazdaspeed lsd or if there

Look for a mazdaspeed part list in the MSP section...there is a complete list of MSP specific parts...Try a search for it...it might make it a little easier

"A cheaper solution is to get the Tochigi Fuji Sangyo 2 way LSD from the MazdaSpeed Proteg. The piece runs for a little over $400 and is a great deal. It is a direct swap to the G15M-R, but with some modifcations, it may fit the other G-series transmissions. The part number is GS01-27-190A."

I'm a newbie with the MP5... so... what transmission do we have, and will the 2 way LSD fit in it?

Do a search on this though, you don't just need the Diff itself...you also need a bolt kit or something, I can't remember off hand...but the parts total up to about $600 before labor...That is the cheapest "real" (by real I mean non phantom grip) LSD you can get...and it drops right in...

IchBin, you have a G-15M-R gearbox if you own a 5-speed...yeah this and another LSD will fit the G-15M-R, but if you own an auto you are out of luck...

Thanks YP5... very helpful, I will look a little harder next time. I noticed in the thread that some dealerships will sell you the parts while others won't. Any reasons why they shouldn't? I think I can do this as my wife talked me into not getting a sunroof ($800 option), so I can probably put the money into it come spring...
