So has anyone to-date put an LSD in their car? The Quaiffe one is like $1,200 bucks, and I've heard rumors of others.

Since most of us turbo guys are spinning through first and most of second gears, I think I might just have to go LSD as soon as I can.

The piece out of the MSP is supposed to be a pretty nice unit at a reasonable price.

HMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wonder when this part will be available?

If soon, then my Christmas bonus is spent! hehe

You should be able to order from the dealer now. If you have a part number, they should be able to get it for you.

Here's a picture of the Tochigi Fuji Sangyo 2 way LSD:

Where can we get this beautiful parts? There must be someone who import that stuff. I'm not sure Mazda will sell this part.

I did some research on the net and all I found was Japanesse website..... or some business website like that:

MArkline

Any idea????????

LSD reduce torque steer???

i know an LSD reduces wheel spin. does it also reduce torque steer?

The only way to find out is to ask your dealership to order. The LSD was not on the "Do not sale" list for the MSP, so it should be available from the dealership.

I'll go ask and see if I can get it from mine...

Me too... I was going to buy my clutcha nd flywheel first, but I might just get this LSD if it's available..

Does anyone know what the install is like for an LSD?

I think it would be worth doing it all at once. Getting the LSD, flywheel and clutch all at once. That way you only drop the tranny once, and pay the labor, once...

AMEN BROTHER!! I can testify to that one!

DBR, LSD are suppose to reduce torque steer.

Thats true but I don't know if they already have the parts catalog for the Mazdaspeed. But that worth the try!

I missed that one!!! There's to much thing happenig on this board, I don't have enough time to see all of it! :D

That's very interesting LinuxRacr, I'll check that with my dealer!!!

That doesn't look like the picture of the LSD on the previous page. That look like a regular diff?

Labor = 0.00$ hehe... Me and my buddy do it all. But ya, I'm really not looking forward to the clutch install... Yikes!!!!!

I remember reading a previous post about a guy with a P5 who put the lsd from a 93 or around that year Ford Escort GT. he said it uses the same G-series tranny.

I too plan on lsd, clutch, flywheel b4 turboing. If the MSP one is available it seems to be the cheapest. although the escort gt could be pulled from a junkyard, but id rather go with something new. Do a search for the escort GT lsd i would do it but i dont have time right now. and my computer is slow as hell. That cool you are doing the install all yourself ive heard clutches can can pretty tricky especially on imports.

Does anyone know what it should cost me for a Clutch, flywheel, lsd install???? if i supply the parts and get it done all at once??
