So, Road Magnet vs Eibach Springs. Which in your opinion are better? I'm not looking for a drastic drop. Nothing above 2" I wanted to go with corksport but the drop is 2.25.

Ive always loved eibach, but road magnets are good as well, nothing but good reviews from both.

I have eibach sportlines
They will lower 2 inches or so I love the new stance on the Mazda now
The springs defitnetly made a change on the car it's Abit stiffer, handles alot better
Does not "dip" on sharp turn anymore and it does feel more stable.
My front passanger shock thou bottoms out when I drive over a big crack on the pavement
I hear the shocks cylinder hit the shocks top, when it compresses quite annoying, but that's my shock issue
Overall good springs I paid $200 shipped

If you want pure performance then road magnet is the choice hands down. You will need upgraded shocks and struts though, if not at first, soon down the road. I had road magnets paired with mazdaspeed accessory struts and the rears are completely shot; out of the car they took more than a minute to rebound. I now have them paired with Koni yellows and they are the sh!t.

I can't make any comparisons to Sportlines but I have had Prokits. The Eibachs ride smoother, and paired with my mazdaspeed shocks/struts, they were the perfect balance of mildly sporty and comfortable.

I would recommend the road magnets to anyone, but you really need to be aware of what you are getting into with this setup.

I read somewhere that if you go more the 1" you have to change more then just the shocks and struts? I wanted to lower my mazda, but I have no idea how to do it myself or no anyone and the auto shops change a grip to install.

There is no problem with the Koni Yellows, I had a problem with the Mazdaspeed accessory struts/shocks. They stopped rebounding effectively because they were oversprung, which eventually lead to them burning out. I had about 60,000 kms on them; about 45k on prokits, 15k on road magnets.

Check out the TEIN S-Tech springs. They offer a 1.5" drop and are designed to work with OEM or OEM replacement shocks/struts.
