Lower Console (Circular) Climate Controls NOT Illuminating

I Just bought my M3 last month and recently noticed that the three circular controls that control the temperature, the air speed and the output location of the air are not illuminating (I don't have the automatic climate control, just the manual spinning knobs) At first I didn't think anything of it except that it was odd that they didn't illuminate but I just figured it was normal. Then I saw a picture of someone elses M3 online and their controls were illuminated so I knew something was up.

I check fuse #82 which was for illumination and when I removed it I lost all upper radio illumination and speedometer gauge lighting (which I figured I would) the fuse was fine and I replace it back where I got it from

Anybody have any ideas of what could be the problem or know of another thread where someone had a similar issue?

Thanks for your help!

Don't mess with it. It is warranty work.

I would but I'm almost positive the warranty is up. It only has it's power-train warranty left. it's a 2007 not sure if I mentioned that in my first post.

It's gotta be a wiring issue. I would seriously doubt that all three of the lamps from the climate controls would go out at the same time. It's possible, but not likely. If you are not savvy with cars and electrical wiring, I would take it to a local shop (assuming you are not under warranty).
