low washer fluid warning light

look in your owner's manual, it talks about it and doesn't at all say that it's optional or not in some proteges. do we have it, if so where is it?? My bulb must be out. I know my washer fluid has gone empty before and no light ever came on.

I believe for North America, only the Canidian market received the washer fluid sensor and warning light.

Ditto here. I've run it dry several times over the last few months due to all the construction going on around my house. Never saw a warning light.

To be honest, I'm kinda glad the P5 doesn't have the warning light. I hate getting warning lights for something that isn't critical. I drove an Alero with a warning light for that, and it was annoying having that amber light shining while you're driving. Even when you know what it is, it's still distracting while you're driving b/c it keeps catching your attention.

Nope. I ran dry the other day and no warning light. Although it is not crucial, I did wish my truck had it one winter with a lot of salt and melted snow on the roads and I was about 20 miles from home when I ran out of washer fluid. I couldn't see for the 2 miles it took me to find a convenient store so I can get some fluid. Kind of scarey.(confused)

It is in the dash cluster... There is no light bulb in there.....Like someone said it might need the sensor....I check today on the washer fluid bottle....

I hit a reflector, I repaired all the damage except for the bottle. It cracked on a seam. Need epoxy.

I have a 2002 Canadian Model and the washer fluid light came on just in the last month... so it does exist for our Canadian versions.

more reason for me to obtain a CDM gauge cluster.. i REEEALLY want km/h as the primary (i use the metric system), and it would be cool if the trip odometer was in km (don't know if that can be done legally though)... but now if i could get the light in there for washer fluid and get the sensor, that would be great (and useless).
