low beam=gone?

started my car right before the sun went down and started to drive and noticed that my street was awfully dark. come to realize that both of my headlights stopped working. so i pull over and do some tests. high beams work, parking lights, work, low beams, nada. need inputs bad. i will change the bulbs out tomorrow when i have light to see, will high beams and parking lights work if the bulbs go bad? is it a bad switch? when two bulbs go out at the same time it usually and probably isnt the bulbs? any input will be appreciated, thanks.

Please stop multi posting. I cannot lock this thread, but it is reported also.

As far as help, its impossible to troubleshoot an electrical problem over the internet. If you do not know what you are doing, I suggest you stop trying now, and get the vehicle to someone who can.

If you have some ability to try and do this. Start at the harness at the lights. See if you are getting power to the low beam side (You must have the switch in the on position to do this) If you do not have power, check the fuses for the low beams. IF it is good, you probably have bad switch.

dude, how many f'n threads do you need? check the fuse. if it's not that change out the light bulbs. I bet you that's what it is. get new light bulbs and stop postin this bulls***.
