Love My '03 P5 Hate My Dealership

had my front fender hit by a ford probe almost 3 weeks ago and took the car back to the dealership for autobody repair...first they had to fix the suspension since the **@($@#& hit my tire too ...grr...3 weeks out and they are just getting around to ordering the fender part. what tha ??! anyone deal with Mazda Gallery in Norwood Mass?! slowww as .....

Actually I go to Mazda Gallery in Norwood, MA and I have nothing but praise for them. They've been great to me and I always recommend them! I dont know about your situaton though....they really are good people there...I would try going in there soon and talk to them.

i go to Sentry West Mazda in Shrewsbury and they are nice there.....stay away from Gallo though.

yea i had no prob with sales when i bought it...sooo much better than ira..thats another story..but the auto body guy keeps giving me the 'oh another 2 weeks' senario...oiy vay..offers no real explanation and says he will call with the information and never calls...doesnt help being a girl

Actually I bought my car at 128 Mazda in wakefield or something. I woulda bought my car at Mazda Gallery, but they didn't have th exact car I wanted in terms of color and options. They've been great for service with me. I brought my car in once cuz I smelled gas sometimes when I started my car. Within 30 mins they said it was the fuel pressure regulator that was the problem. They said they didn't have a spare there so at first I thought they were gonna make me wait. Then they told me they were taking one off one of their brand new p5's to put on my car! How great service is that?!?! They've also gotten me parts very quickly from their parts department. I'm really surprised to hear about your situation, mine's been the exact opposite. The people there are also very nice to me...and I'm only a kid.....I'll probably always go to mazda gallery!!!

Short version:
We traded in my Girlfriends civic for a 2003 LX
Deal went fine
They made us pay $75 for a title processing fee
We got called a dozen times because they couldn't get the title.
Girlfriend takes the little free time she does have to go to the NH offices to get them a title.
She gets it all set on her end.
They keep calling!
Eventualy they say we hav to come down and give them the trade in money back and pick up the civic.
I say I want my $75 back then too.
Girlfriend drives to dover form nashua to get her step dad so he can drive the car back.
They get to Mazda gallery and the CIVIC IS GONE!!!
They say they might have sold it. (eek2)
Girlfriend drives step father back to dover, then back to nashua
They eventualy find the car and call us.
The car was inthe body shop because the radio had been stolen out of it.
I make them pay me the retail on the radio, give me my $75 back and deliver the car to my girlfriends step fathers house so he can sell it.

I'm not backing up the sales department....one of the guys there actually tried to sell me a mazdaspeed protege.....I am 17 and I already have a protege5 which I told him was getting the oil changed while I was in the showroom....I'm lucky enough to have a p5...but why on earth did he think I could aslo afford a mazdaspeed? But the service department has been great!

interesting...i brought mine in to the Gallery cause the dash was rattling ..more like the clear plastic face over the spedometer..did this shortly after i bought it and to this day it still rattles..it did it even after i drove away...

We were dealing with management not actualy sales. I liked the sales kid. I had called him, told him what I wanted, and what the price, trade in and finance rate I expected were. He said it sounded fine and everything was adheared to.

Th egood news was that:
1. I didn't pay retail for the radio, I worked at tweeter so I got it for $140 instead of $200.
2. The radio was broken anyways.
3. it was an alpine so it easier to slide it out without destroying the dash so everything else was fine.
4. The theives only cut the wire harness so putting the factory unit back in was snap.
5. Her step dad sold the car for $3500 and we only paid $725 to get it back (rockon)

you dont have to take it back to the dealer to get autobody work done. its probably better and cheaper to go to a reputable body shop.

yeah i thought about that but the insurance co. told me i could take it anywhere..i assumed back to the dealership would be the best since it's still under warranty and i also thought it would be the quickest ...thought that is

ya they fixed my car 5 weeks it took them and i still had take it back because they didn't get it right(stooges)I dont even take my car there for oil changes anymore

yea the guys at Mazda Gallery are aholes. i got my car back finally after 4 weeks...while i'm waiting them to finish their "last minute cleaning" ..which was to be done the day before...the manager explains to me what bad shape my wheel and tire was in blah blah blah..to which i repeated at the accident scene the wheel didnt look that bad. anywho after examing the 'new wheel and tire they gave me' turns out the just put the old one back on!! totally scratched and all. talk about being pissed. oh and they misaligned the hood, and stained my roofrack ..why the hell they even touching that for front fender damage. complete insurance fraud morons. makes me wonder what else "new parts" they really put on.

ok i'm going back for the 4th time ..the 2nd time was to get the wheel they "forgot" to replace and then they had to order...3rd was they cracked the front headlight replacing the tire??!! ...4th rattling noise coming from front fender side...yadda yadda yadda
