First Mazda....first post...but this place seems like a fountain of knowledge!
Had a new CX-9 GT with nav (it is really quite poor isn't it!?!) for a little under a month now and I am loving it.
The only minor issue I am encountering is that it keeps on losing it's memory! I programmed the 2 keys with different seat settings...and it worked fine for a while...then my wife's stopped working (ie returning to the preset seat position)...then mine stopped working! I re-programmed the keys...and it worked fine...then after a few days "forgot" again.
I also programmed our settings into memories 1 and 2 on the side of the seat...mine in location 1....my wifes in location 2. Mine is still remembered...but her's is now also "forgotten".
And...it's not just the seats! The other day, I was listening to a CD and left the car in the middle of a CD. When I returned a few minutes later and turned the engine back on...it had forgotten where is was and re-loaded the 1st CD. Most of the time it picks up from where it stopped previously.
Anybody else having these absent minded problems??? I should add that it's been pretty much triple digit temperatures down here in Austin, TX for time I've owned the car...but the memories should be spec'd to handle that.
