MP3
well guys, you have all been great, but it looks like i will be putting my MP3 in the garage for 6 months to a year. yes i just graduated high school and upon doing so, im moving to live with my dad to go to junior college which is about 30-45 minutes from my house but only about 10-15 from my dads but my mom has desided to take my mp3 from me until i go off to acutal college so its still in good condition. :'(

i am going to sell my old peice of crap civic and probably going to get a 240sx for the mean time. ill still check up on the treads and what nots but my car is taking a slight break. wish me luck in finding a good car

A couple of things before you store your baby...

Take it and get a oil change and filter
Fill the gas tank full and add a bottle of fuel stabilzer
Clean and put a nice couple of coats of wax on it
Stuff some clothes or meshing in the tail pipe and the air intake to prevent rodents etc...
You may not like this but toss some moth balls in the car, seal the windows same reason
When you park it, remove the battery ( hook it up to a tricke charger and make sure you know the security code on the stereo just in case.
Put a good car cover on it, not a cheap tarp but a good fabric one to keep the moisture off the car.

Every once in a while visit the car and check the tire pressure, take some chalk and mark one of the tires, then roll the car forward and back and park the car on different places on the tires to prevent flat spots, you could also use some jack stands, I do not like the idea of the wheels just hanging there.

I store our mp3 and our msp in winter and this works for me...
