MAZDA PROTEGE PARTIAL TURBO KIT
MAZDASPEED MOTORSPORTS DEVELOPMENT has now released a motorsports partial turbo kit, Part number 0000-01-3951-KT, for the 2001-2003 Protege 2.0l. The parts that are included in this partial turbo kit are the same parts which power our popular MAZDASPEED Protege. As a partial turbo kit, this only includes the necessary turbo items, but leaves cooling, inter cooling, exhaust and engine management up to the racer

Here's a link to the page.

Sorry if it's old news, but I haven't read it on here.

I love how Mazda claims racing will void the car's warranty but yet they have their cars at an autocross type event ("Rev It Up") and refer to their target customer in this turbo description as a "racer". Maybe they should mention that claiming to be a racer at most Mazda dealerships will cause a shitload of problems.

Sorry, just venting about Mazda's warranty crap.

they sold you the damn car, they need to live up to the warranty unless you modified the car that that caused the problem...always trying to get out of it

damnit.. and I'm getting crap from the clutch chatter TSB not existing at my dealer, even after I printed the TSB and a thread from here and gave it to them.

I wonder how much that partial kit would cost?

Is there a "loop hole" to getting parts from mazdaspeed motorsports development? Other vendors? Just don’t want to get a SCCA license to buy parts even if they discount for bulk like BJ's.

You do realize this thread is over 5yrs old. Your best bet is looking in the fs section for a used set-up.

That is exactly what I have been looking for and haven't been able to find anything. I do know if it was a snake it would've done bit my ass by now.

I'll keep my eyes opened for you!

Thanks I appreciate, really all I am looking for is a used msp setup. I would prob go fmic unless someone is selling a smic cheap. Overall my goal is to get some more pep out of the dd and still get more mpgs than my truck.
