Looking to buy an MSP which dealer is preferred?

Personally I would go to Texas and pick it up, that way you can break in the car on the drive back. I know it's a boring drive( driven from L.A. to S.A. twice :D ) but there is alot of open road so you can speed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! $15000 or so compared to maybe 18000 if your lucky in Cali.

Trust me I am keeping that in mind. The figures above were without any haggling or dealing. I feel if I can't get the car for @$18500-19k (for a 03.5) or cheaper out the door then I won't bother with that dealer.

good job notorious.

Tustin Mazda.
I'll even go WITH you to get your car. <-- OMG BONUS ^_^

Well I got some quotes from Hine:
Out the door no negotiating it would be $20,043 (including all fees) for a 03.5 in any color.
They have a Spicy Orange with @6900mi that out the door would be $18,436. It is certified so I will get the remainder of the warranty for it as well. This is with no negotiation. Now my major question is would the $2k more for the 03.5 be worth it to go with the 03.

"Bueller.......Bueller....."

I don't think that's such a hot deal. I bet you that the Spicy Orange one is from the Mazda Rev-it-up event....

It is. I saw it on thursday.

Now if I wanted that car I would gladly offer them $13.5k max since it's obviously been "used" and probably abused.

He told me it was "a customers who was in the navy and decided he didn't want it anymore and turned it back in".

oooo ok then thats a different one. Maybe they sold the other one. That car was originally bought at cush, and yea the guy was in the navy. I guess after a while he couldn't afford to keep it, because he was getting deployed in europe, so he tried to take it back to cush. They didnt offer him much for the car so he traded it back at hine. I remember when he tried to return the car at Cush. That car has been there for a loooooonng time. Over 6 months, becuase when I bought my speed, i considered getting that car, but decided to get new instead.

Hmmm If I can get them down to around $17k out the door with the extended warranty I may just go with the used. Thanks for the info though. I'm also waiting to hear back from Mazda South.
