this particular car is loaded sunroof, 6 disc, sport package etc.. very clean however the miles are rather high 91k owner did allot of work such as waterpump, hub bearing, new tune up and battery, tires. Asking price is $6500 and pretty much firm. Car is blue with blue/black cloth, use to drive 110 miles a day for work so it's all highway. everything works and clean title.

should I go for it, I really like the ride, and the price there is no other Mazda3 for $6500 with less than 92k miles anywhere.

any issues in particular with the 04 model?

Others will need to chime in about any issues as I am not very familiar with the 3. I'd make an offer for $6,000 and see what he says, but $6,500 sounds like a very fair price for a Mazda3 with high mileage.

Manual or automatic? With higher miles you have to worry about clutch replacement if it's manual. I just bought an '04 hatch with 40k miles for $9000, but pretty much no options.

hey, i have a mazda 3i 2.0, sprots package, moonroof and all the stuff u listed.like i think i have 8 airbags and stuff. if u can get it for 6500 take it right away... u can get it and then go to carmax and they would give u at leat 9500 for the car. i am the only owner of this car. so all the 90k i put them on the car. the major problems i had were the fuel pump. it went out , but my mepp EXTENDED warranty covered it. and then recently i heard a ticking noise form the engine, they said it was the intake manifold. so they replaced it. the work cost 1300 bucks, i only paid 50 dollar dedcutible. the price for this car seems to low to me. Maybe there is a problem with the car. i would take it to a mechanic and pay him to check the whole car and find problems if possible. it's worth paying for the check up then later paying thousands of dollars. let me know wut happens, if u need tips about this year car let me know :)

in 04 they had issues with the purge selonoid valve... it sounds like all routine maintenance was done and the bigger stuff was taken care of... if you have questions i would take it to a mazda dealer or a trusted mechanic to give it a once over for you... but it doesn't sound bad.

WTF ^^^

thanks guys going to pick it up this weekend, has a tranferable warrenty till 100k for $50 no brainer... take it in at 99k and get all kinds of stuff done to it..

yea i had the solenoid problem too. but the warranty took care of it. if the car has warranty, dont even think about it. take it in, do the total check up service, where they check evrything ( i mean engine, tranny, and everything else...) and ull have practically a brand new car when they fix all the problems, which i think it would at that milage. mine is an 04 and have some problems. good luck man. trust me its a great car!!!
