Looking seriously at a 2007 cx7 21k mi, need feedback

I have located a 2007 cx7 touring, leather interior. Asking price is under $19k. I've read a LOT of mixed reviews. Please give me some feedback. I'm not interested in good gas mileage, anything is better than the 2001 Ford explorer i'm driving now.

I'm new to this site, and this is my first post. Any feedback is appreciated!

I bought a 07 CX-7 with 10k miles on it a few months ago. I love the car, its fun to to drive with all the utility you need. My only complaint right now is the smoking turbo, not sure if youre buying from a dealer but, idle the car for about 10 mins and see if she smokes, have that fixed first. other then that, good car

Thanks BLK Cherry. Its through a dealer, but not a Mazda dealer. Someone traded this in to them. The price is right, I like the interior. I'm just on the fence about a 2007 vs. 2008-09. Is yours the Touring AWD? How is it in bad weather?

Yep mine is a Touring AWD, have not had it in Snow yet, but very sure footed in heavy rain and stuff.

The dealer is asking $18,990 with good trade in value on my explorer. You should be fine in the snow. I'm just deciding if I'm ok with the asking price...seems high. leather interior though. no alarm system?

i got mine 08 with 4k miles for 19k ot the door last year! its the sport model but still i think you can find somethig better

These are the 2 I am looking at:
1. 2007 Touring AWD, 21k miles, leather interior, about $18k (just got them down another 2%)

2. 2008 GT, 18k miles, leather interior...this was the one with the turbocharger replaced on the carfax report. Asking price is $20,995. But we haven't started negotiating on price.

I think both are good deals, the GT might be a bit better, because if the Turbo was replaced then it probably wont smoke.
