looking for sleeper exhaust system. Any ideas?

I'm new to this club , and have a politically incorrect request. I love performance but not crazy about loud. Yeah, I know, sounds like being 125lbs and wanting to play football. Anyway, I put a single catback system from cp-e on my ms6 as they told me quiet was their game. The inside cabin noise was so annoying I couldn't hear my cai sound and I had a headache after being in the car for an hour. They said I could get a custom ss silencer fabricated for it,but a friend who had one said I was better off splicing a different muffler into the system. He has a honda and put a performance muffler from Apex-i on. It is almost as quiet as stock. If I could find a quiet enough one I was thinking of going with a new downpipe system as well. Anybody out there with similar interest had any luck? Thanks

leave stock catback and put dp quiet an you gain a lot

Thanks for the input guys. In answer to your question: I have a speed 6, not a speed three and I had a '90 RX7 turbo before this. Loved the car but became to small with two kids. I couldn't fit them in the wells anymore!
