Looking for a PCV fix.

Right, cuz pics on a forum is indisputable proof. Can you tell me what an oil hydro looks like, post facto? And who at Mazda "gave us that as a reason"? Some dealership tech, an engineer who designed of this engine? Nobody at Mazda Corporate has anything to say about any of this stuff. It's totally not in their best interests to say anything. Is it impossible? No. Is it likely? No. An oil hydro on a motor would be the most unlikely combination of circumstances and be REALLY obvious in symptoms leading up to it. That ****** would be smoking like nobody's business and barely driveable.

Man, engines are engines. There ain't nothing special/unique/bizarre going on here. Occam's razor, man. Lots of low rpm, high load, bizarre fueling, brainless modification, there's gonna be some blammo. These are more likely since they are causal in all engine destruction, not just this one.

so true. I read on a forum that too much hot giardiniera on your tuna sandwich will make an engine "boom." oh wait, that's my ass. completely agree on high load/low rpm scenerio. I lived it and faced the consequences.
