Looking for a new HU

Hey I am looking for a HU for a 2008 MS3. I would like to have all the bells and whistles, but mostly I want reliability there are a bunch of units out there and the prices vary. Any ideas, input, bad experiences with units.

I bought the Alpine W900BT and it is awesome. It has built in navigation, built in bluetooth (works flawless with iPhone 4S), 7" screen, dvd, double din...blah blah blah....I highly recommend it!!!

If your on a budget, the Pioneer 4300 is excellent. IDK what the cost of the above mentioned units, but i paid $550 total for the unit and installation, and that included a dvd bypass for my old car. No built in Nav, but if you want to add it down the road they have a plug-in unit that you can buy and install at a later date.

Do the steering wheel controls still work with any of these? Also can they be set up if you have the bose system?

Steering wheel controls will work with a seperate module added. And the Alpine works great with the Bose system. Can't comment on others, but I assume they work fine. It's only the head unit your changing
